I'm excited and so thankful to celebrate my first Mother's Day! This is the most wonderful time of my life. Parker just turned eleven months (huh?) last Saturday - cute as ever and the very best present anyone could get. Here are some shots I took this morning in the garden - love her so! Doug just dropped off beautiful roses to start the weekend off, they were amazing and a fantastic surprise. We'll celebrate with Grandma Cribbs tomorrow and then spend the day just hanging with my family - MY family - that is so weird! Happy Mother's Day to one and all!
Such a cutie! Parker has decided (decision-making is sooo en vogue for ten-month olds these days - don't ya know???) that she is finished with naps - all naps - and she's slowly working on eliminating over-night sleeping. A couple shots from her most recent "naptime" on Sunday.
On a good note, we got to share our first bunny experience with our favorite pal - Owen. They've known each other FOREVER (O's Mommy & I were in childbirth classes together and now they are in the same class at daycare).
Don't worry - we're NOT giving her raw fish yet! But we recently went to our favorite sushi place Kyoto and Parker tried some Miso Soup - tofu and seaweed (yum) and slurpped the soup through a straw. Quite the little gourmet, eh?
