Take Two

Mommy had a tough time ending the Birthday festivities, so we ventured back to the park to get a couple more shots in Parker's party dress on Sunday afternoon. A cupcake (once intended for prop-purposes only) was just too tempting! She's too cute for words!

Starts off innocently enough - just a couple tastes of the icing...before you know it she's covered in icing, crumbs and grass wanting a big hug.

The Big Birthday Bash!

A super weekend for Parker's Birthday Party - the weather couldn't have been nicer - surrounded by such wonderful people. Great Time!

Officially ONE YEAR OLD

She was just about One Year, Six Hours old with these shots. Such a sweetie! The big birthday bash is Saturday, but we celebrated yesterday by bringing birthday cookies for a visit with Mom's work pals, then we headed to daycare to spread some cheer with her birthday bags and cupcakes for the teachers. I have feeling Parker was treated to a little cupcake action herself...

The celebrations begin

Our Ft. Thomas gang can't make it this Saturday to Parker's "official" party, so they threw an "unofficial practice" party last night - so much fun. Parker has no fear, loved the attention, the ice cream, the presents - she's a total ham! Parker got a cuddly new bear and chirping bird from Gail and Leroy, new jamies with POLKA DOTS (Mommy's Favorite) from Bill and Diane, and the most adorable dress with matching coat from Judy and Harry (so Audrey Hepburn). She really scored for a practice run! Thanks guys!

Stop Thief

Now that Parker has moved up to her new daycare room, I can confess her criminal behavior (we're hoping a new environment will scare her straight). My daughter is...sniff sniff...a pacifier thief! She swipes them right out of her victim's mouth and makes a run for it.

Hangin' Out With My Baby

Had a relaxing weekend, enjoying the last few days of Parker's first year...some shots from around the house (she does have clothes, promise, but so nice to cool off with just a diaper).

Movin' on up

Seems like just yesterday. Parker said goodbye to the little baby room at daycare on Friday. This morning she started in the big baby room and took it in stride - this kid is incredibly flexible (Dad's genes I guess!).

So begins the month of Parker's first birthday. Today she went to the itsy-bitsy baby room for the final time at daycare. How did this happen so fast?

Monday starts the celebration leading to her rock-star birthday party next Saturday. I'm so excited and so misty at the same time - my baby is no baby anymore!
